Overview:

A seminar to assist participants to deal confidently with Maori, colleagues, clients and key stakeholders.

 

Delivery Style:

The seminar aims to inform participants through analysis and explanation of key cultural concepts.  Opportunity for discussion will arise through question and answer format.

 

Course Outline:

The course analysis a list of dos and don'ts when engaging with Maori.  This gives rise to discussion on the underpinning key cultural concepts and beliefs.

Participants will also learn Maori phrases for greeting and acknowledging others in a polite and friendly fashion.  

 

Course Objective:

Participants will gain an understanding of some fundamental Maori concepts and customary beliefs.  With this as a foundation, they will learn some key do's and don'ts when dealing with Maori.  Finally, participants will learn to greet and acknowledge with confidence in te reo Maori.

 

Cost and Duration:

An average 8-hour workshop costs approximately $2,000 - $3,000 (ex GST) for a maximum of 20 staff. Contact us now for a proposal.
